Muqueca @ Boston

What to eat near Harvard? Specifically what to eat near Sommerville? Answer, Muqueca. It's brazillian food, but don't think brazillian steak house. I think the food here is more homely, and not so much focus on meat. It's definitely different, and still good. The name of the restaurant is named after the traditional brazillian dish. Lots of robust flavors, filling and definitely a place to eat family style so you can eat lots.

 Fried Yucca w. Portuguese Sausage
the yucca was nice, not try. portuguese sausage added nice flavor. that was about it. no wow-factor, i think i would have enjoyed fries more. lol

 Feijoada Completa
[brazillian national dish. black beans stew w. fresh and fried meat, pork, sausage and bacon]
 Fish and Calamari Moqueca
signature dish and stew. i loved this, there were so many yummy flavors and the sauce was great for rice. the fish and calamari was uber fresh.

collard greens, fried plantain, farofa & orange
