Gai May Bao [cocktail bun] @ Hong Kong (Mei Foo)

Uncle 2 says the best time to have any bao is when it comes fresh out of the oven - it's no lie. Walked by Door Door and voila fresh cocktail buns out of the oven. Bought three, and ran upstairs to eat it immediately. So much better than any other cocktail bun I've had in the states. First of all the crust is buttery and flaky. Second, it was the perfect amount of sweetness and saltyness. Third, there wasn't too much coconut, because I'm not a big fan of coconut shavings. And lastly, it was all oh so good!
