Crystal Jade & Hong Kong (TST)

It's time for Shanghainese food! Went to lunch at Crystal Jade in TST at Harbor City, which is basically this huge mall. Crystal Jade is a chain, and I think they have restaurants all over Asia. The food was really good, and I really liked the clear noodles with peanut sauce, I could just keep eating it. I think I would go back just for that, nothing else. Ok, well maybe the dan dan mien :P

Clear Noodles w. Shredded Chicken and Peanut Sauce

this was so good. seriously! the noodles were cold so they were refreshing, and the chicken was light, but the best part was the peanut sauce! i don't know how they cooked it, but it was so creamy and nutty, and spicy! yes spicy! because i was smacking my lips after, but also because of everything else we ordered :P

Xiao Long Bao

pretty ordinary, nothing special, and i think shanghai joe's in nyc is better

Dan Dan Mien - literally, every bite is noodles

so it's homemade noodles - i think in a spicy peanutty broth with ground pork. yayyy!!! omg so spicy but it was tres delish. needed lots of water/tea
