The One We Shall Not Name....

This place is a hidden gem...complete DIVE! BESTEST PLACE FOR SUSHI in the SF. I am not going to post the name or it's location. If you're interested, and you have a pocket full of cash msg me and I shall share.

Owned by this cute japanese couple. Little old man manages the sushi bar, and his wife handles the kitchen and the tables. There are only 10 seats, and he only does 2 seatings a night. Miss the 7pm seating, try your luck at 9:30. Huge portions, and very FRESH.

Abide by the rules, or succumb to the man with a sashimi knife

Menu (bring japanese friend who can read if you want the stuff in japanese, there is no translations from the owners)

Asparagus & Shitake Mushroom (sooo simple..soo GOOD!)

He sliced up some scallops, salmon and avocado. Set aside for later...

Slicing some yellow tuna...look at him go

Wrapping up some avocado and adds eel on later (he doesn't roll up maki with the bamboo-wrap-thing, but he actually forms the maki with his HANDS!)

Scallops, Tuna, Salmon, Hamachi (upper left going clockwise)

Avocado & Eel (formed a la his fingers/hands...no mat)

Scallops (second round)

Hamachi Kama
