Tak Kee Lee @ San Francisco, Sunset

My brother told me that this was the BEST place for baked Portuguese chicken, and well it may not have been the "best" it was really good. For those of you who don't know what barked Portuguese chicken is, it's basically this coconut mixture that is like curry, but sans the curry and spice, which is cooked with chicken and potatotes. This is then poured over fried rice, and baked in the oven for about 30 minutes. Really good! Some people prefer baked pork chop over rice, I prefer baked Portuguese chicken.

We also ordered HK style fried chicken wings, and they were just so-so here. ABC a few blocks down is better, and that place serves mediocre food. One thing that is nice of restaurant is when you order HK milk tea, they actually give you the condense milk so you can add it to your liking :)

Crown & Crumpet @ San Francisco

Tea with Miss. Watermelon! Uber cute set up at Crown & Crumpet. English tea, tea sandwiches, biscuits, scones, crumpets, little tea cups, and pink, pink, pink! The decor is tres adorable, and the place is definitely small so it's very cozy. The food, AMAZING! This was quite an experience, and I'll definitely do it again. Perhaps a little pricey, but it is catchy so I was sucked in.

 Tea Sandwiches
[roast beef, cucumber, smoked salmon, egg salad, brie, and curry chicken]
cute huh? the roast beef was good, i liked the smoked salmon but miss watermelon wasn't too fond if it. i didn't eat the brie, because i don't like brie, and the egg salad was too creamy

House made Scones, Crumpets, and Biscuits

Butter, Clotted Cream, Lemon Curd, and Strawberry Jam

Dessert Tray
[fresh fruit, cupcakes, brownies, fruit tart, and...]
we were so full from filling up with carbs (the scones and biscuits) and half the sandwiches, we couldn't even touch the dessert. however when i took some home, the brownie was like fudge and the tart was yum yum

Bellagio Buffet @ Bellagion, Las Vegas

Simply the best buffet in Las Vegas? It has to be the BELLAGIO! Expect to wait in line over 45 min on the weekend, and you should really get there before 6pm. There are tons of seafood (crab legs, sushi, fish, cocktail shrimp), tons of meat (prime rib, rack of lamb, ostrich), and so much more. I normally would have more pictures, but I was feeling slightly under the weather that night.

Sushi & Crab Legs

Prime Rib & Rack of Lamb

Spicy Tuna Hand Roll, Lobster Ravioli, Sea Bass

Jean Philipe @ Aria, Las Vegas

"Fast-food," and not really that fast. The pastries looked really good, too bad I wasn't there for that. Saw some panini's and it looked yummy so that's what I got. The next day I went there for breakfast and got a breakfast crepe. Anyways, I dont't feel like writing much tonight, so how about you just enjoy the pictures? I think that's the great idea!

Prosciutto and Mozarella w. pesto aioli

The Forest
[scrambled eggs, cheese and ham]
not really that good, i didn't finish it

American Fish @ Aria, Las Vegas

Fish galore! Where? Michael Mina's restaurant, American Fish. The food was really good, and I really loved my dish, my branzino. There were so many possibilities; what fish to eat? How should it be cooked: poached, grilled, sea salt, etc? The decisions! Where to go! Ahhhh!! Just close your eyes, point at the menu, eat that, sit back and enjoy!

Olive Oil & Butter
no one used this...because the bread was wonderful by it self! man i love carbs

Bread Basket: Grilled Foccacia & Blue Corn Muffin
we were so starved and this was simply delish

Grilled Focacia w. Butter
you know there is something really tasty about grilling bread, not toasting, but grilling. i really gotta try this at home

 Blue Corn Muffin
it sounded really funky, but it didn't taste funky at all. this was really good, really fragrant and sweet at the same time. did you know where blue corn meal comes from? it comes from regular corn which has been molded...it freaks most people out, but it's really tasty. yum!

 Cauliflower Gratin
taste like carbs, but there are no carbs! kinda tasted like mac and cheese too

  Brocolini

Branzino w. sea salt
so soft, so tasty, so buttery, so yummy! i've never had branzino, and i totally wasn't expecting it to be a whole fish. i really liked the skin, super crispy! they cut off the head, but if they left if off it wouldn't have been a big deal, because i'm use to seeing them attached to the fish anyways. hahaha

 Mixed Shellfish Poached
laura's dish! mixtures of lobster, shrimp, scallops and mussels. very good and very fresh

Bacon Wrapped Sturgeon
nicole and lily's dish. the waiter described it as meaty, and it definitely was. a lot more heartier than most fish dishes, but still very good.

overall i prefered my branzino :) and now i know what it is! however...i still love sushi more, don't cook the fish, just slice it and give me some soysauce and wasabi. hehehe. i think i may go get myself some sushi later today from my fav place in SF.

View Bar @ Aria, Las Vegas

 Pear Pare Pair
it was something like that, a play on words with "pear" but it was really yummy! you know me i love sugary drinks
